Coastal fisheries: This type of fisheries covers fisheries operating without fishing boat, with non-powered boat, with powered boat less than 10 gross tonnage including collecting shellfish, collecting seaweeds, set net and beach seine．
Offshore fisheries: This type of fisheries covers fisheries operating with powered boat of more than 10 gross tonnage except for fisheries on distant waters, collecting shellfish, collecting seaweeds, set net and beach seine．
Distant water fisheries: This type of fihseries covers mother ship type fisheries, large trawl in East China Sea, distant water trawls, tuna long line on distant water, skipjack pole-and-line on distant waters, North Pacific Ocean tanner crab fishing, North Pacific Ocean long line and gill net．
